With a sounding “Sonnerie au Passage”, the Bell Hora revives a pratically forgotten complication.
MeisterSinger single-hand watches combine award-winning design from Germany with the quality of Swiss watchmaking. Mechanical wristwatches with one hand let us experience time in a stress-free and more relaxed way – they give us a feeling of deceleration. At the same time, mechanical single-hand watches with their historical background take us back to the beginnings of time measurement. From the sundial to the first mechanical watches of the Middle Ages to the first portable watches, they all showed the time with only one hand – the hour hand. Single-hand watches from MeisterSinger take up this original principle again. In combination with the internationally award-winning product design, unique timepieces are created that teach us a more relaxed approach to time. A MeisterSinger single-hand watch gives us the feeling of being given time as a gift.
From Hamburg to Berlin in minutes. It is December 15, 1846. The first train to run between Berlin and Hamburg is waiting for the starting signal for its long-awaited trial run. What no one knows at this point is that this trial run will lay the foundation for a network of routes that will enable a completely new way of traveling. We wanted to capture this feeling of wonder and combine it with the leisurely pace of another century. The result is the Berlin model with weekday and date display. The 38 mm champagne-gold case and alligator-embossed strap underscore the vintage style of the timepiece. With a case height of 8 mm, the Berlin is comfortable on the wrist and combines timeless style with minimalist design.
The distinctive case made of brushed 316 stainless steel and the matte dark blue dial are reminiscent of the steep rock walls of the world-famous Alpine pass. The road pass, located at an altitude of 2,429 meters in the Swiss Alps, is considered extremely difficult to drive and demands a lot from even experienced drivers. In terms of appearance, the tachymeter lives up to its sporty background. The tachymeter scale and colored highlights in blue, red, and green would also be a real eye-catcher in the cockpit of a sports car. The chronograph functions allow for measuring time in seconds and minutes. The large highlight second hand in signal red stops the time down to the second.
With its functional typography and dome-shaped glass over the uncluttered dial, the Vintago is reminiscent of the austere design language of the 1960s.
