Our S.A.R. models have earned a strong reputation as particularly durable timepieces. This brought Mühle-Glashütte to the attention of the German Navy’s Seebataillon. For the soldiers of this specialized unit, we have developed a tool watch with a useful GMT function. This takes into account the frequent foreign deployments of the Seebataillon.
ANOTHER MÜHLE TOOL WATCH FOR THE GERMAN NAVY
The Seebataillon GMT was introduced in 2013. A year earlier, we began developing the tool watch in coordination with the command staff of the Sea Battalion. The soldiers became aware of Mühle-Glashütte through the S.A.R. Flieger-Chronograph, which is on board with the naval rescue pilots. They also had a need for a wristwatch tailored exactly to their requirements. So they approached us with the development of a timepiece that is solid and shockproof enough for any mission, guarantees an accurate time display day and night, and combines the best wearing comfort with optimal functionality. This is because the unit protects the soldiers, ships and buildings of the Navy in ports or on the high seas. To ensure that the watch can provide loyal service to soldiers in Germany as well as off the coast of Africa or in the Middle East, it should not only be reliable, self-sufficient and precise, but also particularly easy to read. -

SPORTIVO COMPASS DATE
The Sportivo Compass Date is all about varied outdoor adventures. With its bidirectional rotating compass bezel, the new Mühle sports watch is ideal for extended trekking tours. It also allows the direction of the compass to be determined when a flat battery makes navigation via smartphone impossible.
COMPASS BEZEL
To determine the direction of the compass, hold the Sportivo Compass Date horizontally and point its hour hand towards the sun (1). The hour hand and 12 o’clock thus form an angle, half of which marks the cardinal point south. If you also synchronise the south marking on the compass bezel (2) with this bisector or half of the angle between the hour hand and the 12 o’clock marking, you can read all the cardinal points on the bezel at a glance.

The new Meteor edition draws inspiration from the fascinating expanse of the solar system. The artistic cross-hatch of the mulit-layer dial reminds of the texture of meteorites and exudes powerful charm.
The brushed case made of 316L stainless steel is provided with a black PVD coating for additional scratch resistance. This gives the Tachymeter Edition Meteor a sporty, masculine look that immediately catches the eye. Flat, double-coated sapphire crystal keeps the timepiece slim and at the same time ensures an optimally protected dial.

TACHYMETER QUARTZ STEEL
A chronograph inspired by the Swiss Furka Pass.
The distinctive case made of brushed 316 stainless steel and the matte dark blue dial are reminiscent of the steep rock walls of the world-famous Alpine pass. The road pass, located at an altitude of 2,429 meters in the Swiss Alps, is considered extremely difficult to drive and demands a lot from even experienced drivers. In terms of appearance, the tachymeter lives up to its sporty background. The tachymeter scale and colored highlights in blue, red, and green would also be a real eye-catcher in the cockpit of a sports car. The chronograph functions allow for measuring time in seconds and minutes. The large highlight second hand in signal red stops the time down to the second.
